System requirements
In order to watch videos on our site, make sure you have access to the following system requirements:

1. Macromedia Flash Player 10 oh higher. Download and install...
2. Broadband connection with 500+ Kbps
3. Operating System and Browsers:

- PC users: Windows 2000 or later (Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later, Firefox 3.x)
- Mac users: MAC OS X 10.4 or later (Firefox 2.x, Firefox 3.x, Opera 9.5, Safari 3.x)

Streaming technology
ZoomInterviews uses streaming media server to provide you with the best viewing experience and protect our media data from illegal use.

The main feature of this method is that playback begins as soon as sufficient data has downloaded and the viewer can skip to a point part way through a clip without needing to download the beginning. In other words, just select any point on the Player's timeline or choose any question from the interview index, and you will start watching the video instantly.

Using a streaming media server allows us to make our Player interactive and let you pick which specific question or episode you want to watch.

Slow Internet connection
A slower connection means slower delivery of video data. You need a little more time and patience than with a faster connection.

We use streaming media server to transmit video data, so pausing a video to download it in full first will not work in this case. The player will always "prebuffer" small pieces of data and play them back as soon as sufficient data has downloaded.

The video won't play
Videos on ZoomInterviews website are streamed through Adobe Flash Player. If you're having trouble viewing videos, check and make sure that your system matches the system requirements described above.

If videos are not playing, in most cases you will just need to upgrade to the most recent version of Adobe's Flash Player by clicking the following link: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/. Follow Adobe's instructions to download and install the newest version of Flash Player.

In some cases you might need to first uninstall any older versions of the Flash player you've installed in the past and currently have running on your computer. To uninstall Flash, follow Adobe's instructions, listed here. Once you've uninstalled the older version of Flash, download and install the most recent version. Once you've done so, restart your browser and go to ZoomInterviews.com. You should now be able to successfully watch videos.

For Windows Vista users: If the Flash uninstall / reinstall does not work this maybe due to a Microsoft Windows Vista permissions issue. Please use the "Windows" button at the bottom left then the search function:

Go to: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
Right-click on the following file: FlashUtil9b.exe or FlashUtil9e.exe
Select "Run as Administrator" and install the update.
Restart your computer.
